Fellow Barnstormer Fans:

It is with my deepest regrets that I have to inform you that I am shutting down 'Stormer Nation. This was one of the toughest decisions that I've made as of recent and I can assure you that it is very upsetting.

New opportunities have opened up for me that were too good to pass up. As some of you may know, I have accepted a job as Media Director for the Iowa Eagles, a semi-professional outdoor football team based in Fort Dodge. They play in the same league as Des Moines' Iowa Lightning so I encourage you check a game out.

During the past few years I have been running 'Stormer Nation, I've had the pleasure of meeting many great people. I'd like to take the time now to give thanks to those people.

First and foremost, I'd like to thank the two greatest Barnstormer fans that I've ever known; Gary Iles and Ron Latson. Everyone that has ever visited this site has to know these two. Gary and Ron, not only have I had the pleasure of getting to know you guys, you guys have become friends with the entire Barnhardt family. You guys are what give Barnstormer fans the best reputation in the league. It has been a great time getting to know you and I know we'll keep in touch.

Next, I'd like to thank my family and friends. Dad, mom, Allie, Abe, all of you guys have been there to support me and any crazy decisions I may have made with this website. Love ya. Ian, Brett, Abbi, the rest of you, thanks for giving me your opinions and ideas to make a better website.

Next, I'd like to thank the best team employee in all of professional sports; Mr. Grant Young. Grant, you've always been there to fufill all of my requests and have always done it in a very professional manner. You've always put up with my e-mails in which I would tirade and throw temper tantrums. I'd like to thank you good sir.

I'd also like to thank the players that I've gotten to know. Pray, Matthes, Brannen, Glas, and Dublin, you guys are not only great football players, you're even better people. I'd like to thank you guys for taking the time to sit down and let me interview you at some point during the duration of 'Stormer Nation.

Last but not least, I'd like to thank God. He's the reason I've gotten this far and He's the reason I've kept on going.
